Are Roman Catholics not allowed to incense out the church, too???? We have a right to the Holy Sites as much as others do, perhaps even more. It seems like we are always being pushed aside. I have noticed that the Greeks do that, because I have lived in Thessalonica, Greece for 7 years. The Christian world is definitely not just Greek or Armenian. On the contrary, the Roman Catholics have between 1.3-1.5 billion members. Greece itself only has a population of 10.5 million and the Patriarch in Constantinople has less than 2,000 followers in his city (!) of 14 million. There are not more than 6,000 Greek Orthodox followers in all of Turkey! Are all the inscriptions at the tomb also only in Greek? Why do the Latins allow themselves to be pushed around that much? It is almost like bullying. I have experienced the Greeks' hatred of Roman Catholicism quite severely here in Thessalonica. It is not from Christ, for sure. I don't mean to be divisive, but that is the truth. The Greeks and Armenians do not have a monopoly on Christ, although historically the church has been divided between the Greeks, Armenians, ROMAN CATHOLICS, and Ethiopians. I have that, at the time the authority over the church was decided, whoever paid the most, got the most. Lord have mercy on us, and on the whole world.
